Operational excellence experts from across Europe will be gathering at the European Shingo Conference for Process Improvement in Brussels in October.
The two-day event will feature a world class line up of leaders in manufacturing, healthcare, services and many other industries reveal how they have achieved a culture of excellence through principles, behaviours and systems.
Key speaker sessions will include visual workplace management, becoming an improvement leader, and how Honeywell established a sustainable operational excellence culture.
Says Ken Snyder, Executive Director of the Shingo Institute: “The conference is a great opportunity to interact with people who are also striving for excellence.
“It’s important to see companies that are all doing an excellent job and be inspired by their example. You may even get the chance to go and visit their operation and look at it in more depth.
“The networking and support is also very important because sometimes we can get beaten down a little bit. It’s hard to do it on your own.”
The conference is on October 17 and 18 and is followed by a two-day Shingo Discover Excellence workshop on October 19 and 20. Breakfast and lunch are included in the price of the conference, as well as a networking happy hour.
